Practicing Clare Battering

I worked again this week on a step danced by Tone Darcy of the Mullagh Half Set from Mullagh, Co. Clare. This week I focused on improving the step, especially on my left foot.

I thought sharing my process might be helpful for others working on battering steps or improving their non-dominant foot in any step. Isolating, simplifying, and drilling movements from within the step can help sharpen your practice. Comparing your two sides can help transfer a step from your dominant to your non-dominant foot.
