Resources: Set Dancing Class

Special thanks to Lennart Jansson for playing tunes for class.

We just finished a six-week introduction to set dancing class in Seattle. Thanks to everyone who showed up! We had dancers of all ages and experience levels. It was amazingly fun to see people improve from week to week. It was even better to see community connections forming. We covered many of the common movements in set dancing. We also practiced dancing to a variety of tune types—reels, jigs, polkas, slides, and hornpipes. Every week we worked on sharpening and strengthening movements for housing and partner dancing.
